Dumb is an endurance-based performance in which I consume a mouth-paralyzing plant and attempt to sing karaoke for several hours. Dumb was created as I learned about side effects that result from the consumption of common household plants readily available at local stores. The plant chosen for the performance is called Dieffenbachia, or more commonly known as Dumbcane.
